He graduated from Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his research area was Optical Crystal Materials. Dr Qi has published about 100 papers in both international and national journals and he has won 3 prizes at the provincial level or above. In 2017, Dr Qi was awarded the honorary title of Outstanding Member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr Qi is the Secretary General of optical materials Committee of China Optical, and he is the member of crystal materials branch of the Chinese Society of Rare Earth and the member of coating branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society.

Dr. Fang Jianxiong is the Chief Consultant of Hangzhou Fujia Gallium Technology Co., LTD. Dr. Fang received his PhD from Cambridge University, UK. He has served as the General Manager of ARC Energy in the United States, CEO of Graphion Cambridge Technology Ltd in the United Kingdom, and currently General manager of Pallidus Inc., a well-known silicon carbide company in the United States. Dr. Fang has rich experience in R&D and mass production of sapphire substrate processing, silicon based solar cell PECVD, MOCVD of gallium arsenide film and silicon carbide crystal growth and processing.
